Desmond uses the medieval technique ‘Fauxbourdon’ – which has intimations of the ‘tintinnabuli’ style of Arvo Pärt  – creating a sound that has a timeless character. The overall effect is sublime; the rich, sonorous soundscape creating a mood of calmness and contemplation.
